It’s okay…

I have almost every shade of the summer fridays lip balm and this one if different from the rest. It’s a way thinner formula than the other ones which means it feels more like a lip oil than a lip balm, it also doesn’t stay on my lips as long as i want it too. The smell is more like strawberry rather than guava, but I don’t mind that. I’d go for pink sugar over this one. f

The color is beautiful, but the formula feels completely different—more like Vaseline and not very hydrating. It honestly hurts me to say this because Summer Fridays is my ride or die, but I had to return it. I kept having to reapply since it wore off so quickly, while the other scents would last me hours. I own all the other OGs and limited edition scents and compared them to Pink Guava, and this one definitely seems reformulated (not in a good way). I even had my best friends compare them and as soon as the applicator touched their lips, they knew something was off. The shade itself is gorgeous, but formula-wise, it’s a definite NO from me. The older ones are so much better and worth your pretty gold coin.
