Dry and faulty pencil was retracted inside

I bought rich blue and the actual pencil part was tucked all the way up the tube so rather than travel back to store I decided to sharpen it, it was apparent it was faulty as it wouldn’t sharpen properly and then the actual pencil pigment was dry and scratchy. Need to travel back to store as I’m not spending this amount on a faulty pencil it’s awful. I swear by perfect brown though so not sure if it’s rich blue that is dry.

Don’t last long

It does not smudge, however it also dulls very very quickly and does not sharpen well at all! I’ve wasted as much as I’ve used
