Pretty Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using it for a year or a bit longer and I have no major complaints. I use it twice a day in my skincare routine. Only thing I notice is mild dryness occasionally if I don’t moisturize my face good enough.

An Objective Review of Functionality

☆ How I'm Using It: Uhhh religiously? Lol. Every night, and every morning. ☆ Important Pros: Not immediately stripping (hence the gentle in the name!), so it doesn't make your face feel tight and dry after immediate use (takes about a solid 15 minutes to start feeling tight, and even then not that much). Lathers nicely (if that is crucial for your ideal cleanser). A little goes a long way! 1/2- 1 full pump is enough. Naturally scented (I think); faintly like steamed kale and plants, i.e., not a chemical-y scent. ☆ Notes About the Refill Pouch: Contains two FULL SIZED SIZED bottles worth of cleanser, so its functional for price point. This cleanser + the refills should keep you stocked for a good few months. ☆ Important Cons: Scented like kale and vegetables/plants (not necessarily important to function, more a note for those sensitive to scent). Does NOT cut through sunscreen/heavy night creams. (this has been tested a few times, as in I have forgotten to wash off sunscreen/heavy over-night cream with this and the lather does not get thick. It WILL take a second round to cut through it— barely). Which makes sense, seeing as thats the purpose of an oil/balm cleanser. ☆ Personal Thoughts: I have bought the equivalent of 5.5 bottles of this (1 'carry on' size, 3 fully used full sized bottle, with the last third bottle being a refill, and 1 full bottles worth in my refill package). I VERY much love this cleanser, and I have used a lot of cleansers (about 7 different brands).
