What's going on with some shades???

Now let me start by saying this was My absolute favorite lip gloss brand goal however, lately they have changed the formulation on some of the shades and it's horrible. There is only a few shades that have the original formulation. Can we explain why

not glossy. not hydrating. had a bad reaction to the formula - dried my lips out and took weeks to recover. colour and packaging was gorgeous.
