Samples are always better than the full size

I got a free sample of this, with all the shades included. The light sample was so good! I felt pretty all day with it on so went and bought a full size. Yikes. Why are samples always so good?? The full size product is a major disappointment. Regret buying. It’s overpriced for how basic it is, dries too quickly, and looks chalky.
