Smells odd and looks dark/orange

Honestly, this is my least favorite product I’ve bought from Sephora. It has been sitting untouched on my desk for years. The shade the employee picked for me is too dark and pulls very orange on my skin. It almost looks like a color corrector. The chemical smell also worries me, to the point that even if the shade matched, I wouldn’t feel comfortable using it. The packaging is nice, but unfortunately that’s the only thing I like about it.
