I loved this lipstick when I left the store. When I brought it home, it dried my lips out horrendously. Recently, I learned how to work with it. I moisturize my lips, let it absorb. I then put on a very thin layer of Vaseline to help really protect, seal in moisture, and help create a barrier to prevent drying. I then apply the lipstick. In case you're wondering, the Vaseline doesn't interfere with the matte finish or transfer proof.
