Scary amount of hair fall with a big price tag

I’m 54 and have a reasonable head of hair but the amount of hair fall on every wash is scary. I first tried the recovery shampoo but the hair fall with this shampoo is identical. My scalp from feeling perfectly fine feels dry. It’s incredibly overpriced with no result.
