SPF Claims Don’t Match Independent Test Results

This is the last Ultra Violette product I will purchase. I have been a repeat purchaser of this sunscreen in an effort to manage terrible pigmentation as I trusted the brand’s claims. That’s why I was so disappointed to read CHOICE Magazine’s independent tests showing that Ultra Violette’s Lean Screen SPF 50+ delivered just an SPF of 4—far below the advertised level. These tests were carried out in accredited laboratories in Australia and confirmed in Germany, with very similar results—SPF 4 and SPF 5. Ultra Violette’s response was equally disappointing to me— they dismissed CHOICE’s findings. I genuinely feel misled after trusting what I thought was a premium brand for serious sun protection. Very disappointed.

Good but not great

Overall, it's good but not great. It's very easy to apply and to remove and I don't notice it on my skin if I don't touch my face. It isn't completely matte and is downright greasy if you use even a touch too much moisturiser. It oxidises very orange for some reason. It doesn't look too bad on me (very pale) but it's noticeable, and it will leave orange streaks if you don't rub it in properly.
