Left me with straw hair!!

I was so disappointed with this product. I was hoping to get shiny glossy hair but instead I got hair that felt like straw. I started with the honey gloss shampoo and then used this on freshly washed wet hair. I left it in on for about an hour. Rinsed it out and then applied a leave in conditioner to my wet hair. When I dried my hair, I was shocked to find that the product left a starchy residue and fried my hair when I blow dried it!!!
