Aggravated allergic reaction after using salicylic

I bought this salicyclic product almost a year back but i started using after few months, and I was quite satisfied with this product and hence I ordered recently again with other few products.. But suddendly since last two weeks I started getting allergic reaction like eyes swollen and red with burning and itchy sensation and after few days really dry and flaky, I thought it was my new eye cream so I stopped using everything and with time it improved but just my eye area was still flaky, dry and wrinkly... yesterday night I used again salicylic acid and this morning I had a very bad allergic reaction almost unable to open my eyes...after splashing cold water it calmed down a bit but the burning, itchy, pain and swollen is still there, I do not know how it can happen, I used the same bottle I had no reaction and now suddenly I have a reaction.. so I wasted money on two bottles... I can't understand because I always used salicylic solutions from different brands I never had problems (because I have acnic skin). I have taken appointment with my generalist doctor incase, I am scared to have long term effects and I don't know how many days it will take to disappear :(

Eyes

Had a terrible allergic reaction on my eyes that hospitalised me - had to take strong antihistamines for weeks after - horrible sore, swollen eyes - can see other people have reported the same - AVOID!
