I wouldn’t buy again

I bought this as a treat, and for the price tag and my experience it’ll have to be a one off treat never to be repeated. The packaging is lovely and really gives you the impression that you’re buying and using luxury. That’s where it ends for good points I’m afraid. At £72, you’d expect a volumizer to do what it says. It tastes and smells like menthol, it tingles but it certainly doesn’t plump up your lips. Also, it actually strips my lips each time I’ve used it, the day after my lips are dry and peeling - not a good luck. Even when I’m compensating in the morning and evening with balms I’m still suffering with dry peeling.

Received this wonderful product in a high end advent calendar as a treat for my retirement - it's just so easy on your lips and so fresh; no sticky feeling like other brands. My first la Mer product hopefully won't be my last
