Too liquidy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I’m a bit torn on this Clarins Water Lip Stain. I really like the color! What I don’t like is how watery/liquidy it is. I know it’s called water lip stain but it’s hard to apply it evenly on your lips. It ended up outside my lip line. The applicator is a little brush, like a nail polish brush. I felt like that just made it a bit harder to evenly apply.

This is really fun! It has a nice flavor to it, applied relatively easily for how liquidy it is … and had great color. Even after eating and drinking, a nice popsicle red stain was left on my lips.
