Burning and stinging sensation

I have been using Kiehls products for 22yrs and this is the first time I have had an issue with a product. Tonight (15/4/26) I applied the Calendula Skin Soothing & Stabilising Emulsion cream to my face and used my Gua Sha tool straight after and within 15mins my face starting burning up really bad and became very red. I had to rub the cream off with water and toner but the pain lasted for 20mins before settling. It is very strange as I have used this product before and never had an issue or reaction like this. I don't think I will risk this again. Maybe try a sample to see if it works for you instead of risking paying full price.

This gave me a burning, peeling, sensitive skin

I bought this product in a mystery box, and it has been a nightmare for my skin. Almost immediately after applying it, I experienced burning, peeling, and intense redness especially the nose area. My skin felt incredibly uncomfortable for weeks. I've never had such a bad reaction to a skincare product before. Extremely disappointed!
