Proceed with Caution

If you have fine, straight hair that is also highlighted every 9ish weeks, proceed with caution. Little did I know that “protein building/smoothing” products actually make your hair more brittle. I now have a two inch section of highlighted hair that has broken off at mid-length after using this product for one week. I am livid considering this was touted to be color safe.
