Beautiful finish but too oily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This foundation has such a pretty finish but unfortunately it just didn't work for me. I have combination skin that's oily in some areas but has dry patches too. It worked great on the dry parts of my face but was way too oily everywhere else. It's definitely hydrating and gives a really nice dewy glow, but it never seemed to set and kept moving around on my face. I could literally feel it sitting on top of my skin. I was able to make it work by applying setting powder right after the foundation, before putting on the rest of my makeup. The bottle is pretty big which is nice for the price, but I wouldn't buy this again. I think it'd be great for someone with really dry skin, just not for me!

If you have dehydrated combo skin, try this.

I love it, I’m giving it five stars even though I don’t have an exact match, because that’s a problem I have for most foundations. I just mix in temptu red and to shade 5 golden and jt gives me the perfect peachy neutral olive tone. I have dehydrated skin that can freak out and over produce oil if it gets to dry. Most foundations look dry and cakey on me even after just a few hours. Not this one. I set this with Laura mercier talc free loose powder in rose. This is definitely for dry / combo skin that can’t withstand matte formulas or combo skin that gets too parched in winter.
