What is this?

I have fine, straight hair prone to split ends because it's color-treated. I've tried this a few times in damp hair and once dry my hair becomes a dried up frizzy mess? It does not make it soft or smooth, it quite literally feels dirty and gritty. It honestly feels like a joke. Returning asap
