It opens with a fresh lavender note that gives it that sharp, slightly soapy freshness, but in a very refined way. As it settles, the cypress adds a green, slightly woody edge, making it feel more grounded and masculine. What I like most is the dry-down, the subtle licorice like warmth gives it a soft, slightly sweet depth without ever becoming heavy. Dark lavender fougere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really love the Carbon EDT, so I was very excited to try this. When I received my sample and initially tried it, it had this strong licorice note upfront that I wasn’t crazy about. I let it ride and once you get to the heart of the fragrance, you are welcomed by the one of the most beautiful and luxurious lavenders that I have ever smelled. Prada really named a homerun with this one. It smells like a beautiful, dark night time fougere for when you to go out on the town and smell like pure class.
