Definitely is brightening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product sets you up with a really good color correcting base. For me at least though, I might have got the wrong shade, but using it as a color corrector UNDER makeup/concealer rather than alone like I’m showing it in the photo does really seem to brighten my under eyes. It smells nice too

Works surprisingly well on fair skin

I was really surprised at how well this works. I have extremely pale skin and bought this in Magic. I was afraid this would be too dark, but it’s not. It blends right in and evens out the darkness on my eyelid and under my eyes. I don’t need to wear any concealer or other foundation, this formulation blends in seamlessly. It doesn’t increase or collect in fine lines.
