Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution

Genius product!

I decided to try a bottle of this after seeing it recommended on a skincare-based Youtube channel. And I have to say, it's really something special. This spring I've been dealing with lots of comedones (the most I've dealt with in years), and it's been the bane of my existence. The problem is that my skin can no longer tolerate water-based BHA products being applied the 3-4x/week that would be necessary to mostly prevent my skin from getting comedones in the first place. With this product, that's no longer a problem. The use of squalane in this formulation means that it feels incredibly comfortable (I LOVE squalane; please don't ever remove it). There is absolutely no stinging, tightness, or irritation--it's amazing. My skin is FINALLY no longer developing new comedones. But to be completely fair, my skin always looks way better when hot summer weather arrives and when I work out regularly (which I re-started doing in the past month), so I can't discount that some of the improvement is from those factors. Nonetheless, this product has earned a permanent spot in my skincare routine on its own merits, and I'll definitely be purchasing a few more bottles soon.

Nose pores helped

I have tried everything under the sun for large pores that become congested on my nose. I tried this product along with a couple of other things including retinol that I've been using for years which didn't much help with this particular issue, although it's good on the rest of my face - and didn't notice any improvement. I decided to just try it on its own to give it one more chance - to isolate whatever it is that it does. And I am noticing smaller looking pores, smoother texture, pores don't look open, oil production is down! I am so psyched. I hope it keeps working. I am going to keep using it on my nose and keep the retinol for the rest of my face. Plus moisturizer and sunscreen of course. Previous salicylic acids I've tried are just brutal with the peeling and then your makeup doesn't look smooth and the pores are kind of emphasized. Retinol on my nose caused the same peeling/irritation which defeats the purpose of not calling attention to pores. This product so far (about a week) used on its own seems to promote a calmness and "normalizing" effect on my nose. Fingers crossed it keeps on.
