waxy coating, too coconuty

I got excited by all the ads and bought multiple products at once, so I have waited until I could really isolate which products have helped and which haven't before I reviewed. This product does work as a detangled post-washing, but the coating it leaves is almost waxy and siliconey. It makes my hair feel odd. I also don't like to fragrance, it smells like cheap sunscreen. Other (even drugstore) leave in conditioners work better and leave a lighter residue.
