Beautiful Formula, Inaccurate Shade Translation

I purchased this concealer expecting it to be the replacement for my longtime favorite, MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW25. While the formula itself is beautiful, the shade translation is unfortunately not accurate. The new Studio Radiance 24HR Luminous Lift Concealer in NW25 is significantly warmer, more peach/golden, and noticeably deeper than Pro Longwear NW25. This is not a subtle variation. Side-by-side, the difference in undertone is immediately apparent, making the shades non-interchangeable despite sharing the same shade name. From a formulation perspective, this appears to be more than a finish difference. The pigment balance has clearly shifted, resulting in a warmer, more saturated undertone. If you've worn Pro Longwear NW25 for years, I would not assume that Studio Radiance NW25 will be a direct replacement. As for the formula itself, I have no complaints. It's creamier than Pro Longwear, blends beautifully, feels hydrating on the under-eye area, and layers well without looking heavy. The finish is natural and flattering. My only criticism is the shade consistency. Keeping the same shade name while changing the undertone this dramatically makes it very difficult for loyal users to transition to the new formula. If you're replacing Pro Longwear, I strongly recommend swatching in person rather than relying on your previous MAC shade.
