Removes everything

An incredible cleanser, but I have concerns about the ingredients Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm works like magic! I absolutely love how effortlessly it removes everything from my skin. I apply it to dry skin and gently massage it over my face, and it dissolves makeup, sunscreen and the daily grime that builds up on my skin. It even removes stubborn makeup without requiring excessive rubbing. What impresses me most is how beautifully it rinses off. Once I add water and rinse, my skin feels clean, with no unpleasant greasy residue. It makes removing makeup at the end of the day so easy, and its cleansing performance is genuinely excellent. However, my main reservation is the ingredient list. The formula contains polyethylene, a synthetic plastic polymer that raises environmental concerns for me. Although I understand that its presence doesn't automatically mean the product contains solid microplastic particles, I would prefer a cleansing balm formulated without ingredients that may contribute to persistent plastic pollution. I have tried another cleansing balm that delivers similarly impressive results using a formula I feel more comfortable with from an environmental perspective. Knowing that equally effective alternatives exist makes me question the need for polyethylene in this product. Overall, the cleansing performance is outstanding, and I genuinely love how thoroughly and effortlessly it removes everything from my skin. However, I would feel much better about using it if the formula addressed my environmental concerns. For that reason, while I love the product's performance, the ingredient choices prevent it from being my perfect cleansing balm.

I love love this product! So good for removing make up as well! I have found my face wash for make up removal and also as an everyday wash. I love it gently cleanse while also not leaving skin my dry!
