Worse than the original

I used to have the old version of y le parfum which is easily one of the best fragrances i own, purchased the new one out of curiosity and was very disappointed. It is honestly the worst smelling of the y line with a prominent synthetic sharpness. Will the old y le parfum ever be brought back as a new flanker?
