Are the reviews a joke?

This is the most mediocre eyelash curler I’ve ever used. Why are the reviews lying?? Kevyn Aucoin is 100000x better.

I had a really great eyelash curler but this one by Shiseido is really a game-changer. It’s like taking your eyelashes to the next level, they're curled beautifully and stay the whole day with this lifted effect yet natural. 10/10
