not what i expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time trying Penhaligon's, and I really thought the fragrance notes would be a great fit for me - vanilla yummm my fav, peach and blood orange? mm sounds like a smooth, fruity fragrance grounded in patchouli. i spritzed myself a few times and my first thought was - oh that smells strongly like grandma. after a few minutes of wear, it settled on me a bit but not nearly enough for me to want to purchase myself. the branding and packaging looks really beautiful though, so i am curious to explore more from this fragrance house.
