Great addition to my skin care routine

Clean, hydrating, and leaves my skin glowing. My fave feels more elastic, and looks younger. This combined with their cleanser make a killer combo. It would be even better if the fragrance was composed of naturals or essential oils.

Why the fragrance in a "clean" product?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this one. The texture of the Youth to the People Air-Whip Moisturizer is *chef's kiss.* Light, whipped, and my face feels genuinely hydrated after using it. There's a slight tacky finish, which isn't for everyone, but could actually work nicely under makeup as a base. But here's my thing with Youth to the People: they've built their whole brand identity around clean, food-grade ingredients like kale, spinach, hyaluronic acid. So why do their products smell so strongly? Fragrance in skincare is one of the more common irritants out there, and it feels at odds with the "pure ingredients" image they're selling. The smell isn't bad, just unnecessary. The moisturizer itself? Solid. The brand's commitment to being truly "clean"? Still waiting on that.
