Fantastic Product, Cheap Packaging

I absolutely love this product. The creamy texture is perfect—you can scoop a small amount out with your finger, spread it evenly across your palms, and work it throughout your hair effortlessly. It distributes beautifully and gives me excellent hold without any greasiness or stickiness. My hair feels natural, not coated with styling product, and the fragrance is fantastic. Occasionally I need a little Genesis Homme Spray de Force Épaississant on the sides to get a few stubborn hairs perfectly groomed, but otherwise the Cire does an excellent job on its own. My only complaint is the packaging, and for a premium Kérastase product, it’s a significant one. The Cire d'Épaisseur comes in a cheap-feeling plastic container that simply doesn't match the quality of the product inside. Kérastase does such a beautiful job with the packaging of its other products that this one feels especially out of place. You're interacting directly with the container every morning—opening it, scooping the cream out with your finger, closing it—so the tactile experience matters to me more than it does with a squeeze tube. This product deserves a substantial glass jar in the same gorgeous Genesis Homme green. It would look and feel appropriate for the quality of the product and the Kérastase brand. Fantastic styling product. Please give it the packaging it deserves.
