This is such a wonderful cream! I actually mix it with the rich cream, and it gives my skin a beautiful matte, polished look. I only wish this soothing cream were offered in a larger size, a little goes a long way, but I do love to slather it on!

The Best Cream for sensitive, barrier-damaged skin

I've been experiencing terrible skin issues for about a year and hopping from cream to cream trying to find a solution. I finally went to a Dermatologist and discovered that it was a reaction to being on Anastrazole (Estrogen inhibiter) for the last two years. We are working to heal the barrier with a few medicated creams along with the soothing cream. This cream has been a lifesaver for burning, red, rashy skin sensitive skin during this time and has worked consistently to calm and soothe (better than the standard Vanicream and Avene Tolerane creams that are normally the supposedly "gold standard" for re-habilitating troubled barrier-damaged skin). I'm on a strict regimen for my skin with the dermatologist and this is the only over-the-counter cream she would approve, so good job, Augustinus Bader! I understand it was formulated for burn victims and I can see why. Great cream and leaves a wonderful silky feel on the skin, along with a strong soothing ability. Skin feels great, not dry or itchy or greasy. Definitely a balm!
