Beautiful glow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the quality of this powder, I love the presentation, I even love the fragrance. It's finely milled so it doesn't emphasize skin texture. I love that the different shades of pearls combine to make a lovely finishing powder that makes my skin glow.

A joy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. However, Guerlain meteorites and I go way back, to the time when I had a fascination with my (rich) aunt's beautiful array of new and exciting products that we kids could only admire from afar. The first time I saw these fascinating little beads of powdery delight, my makeup-curious brain automatically reached for a closer look, at which my hand was slapped away. Knowing my mom could never afford such luxuries, I thus only admired them from afar, hoping that someday, I would be able to save up to buy them. Then life happened, and the wonderous box of silky pearls was forgotten. But here we are. When the box arrived, just looking at it brought back memories of childhood. The perfume, though not identical (I could recognize the original anywhere) was absolutely a delight. I don't wear many fragranced products, not that I mind them; but wearing this feels like one's reminded of classic beauties and iconic makeup. The pearls are all different shades of powders and finishes, with a mix of matte, satin, and shimmer, which together create a beautifully balanced finishing powder that makes my skin glow. The box is as beautiful as ever and pays homage to the original design. This I plan to keep, even after the pearls are gone. I'm so incredibly satisfied, not because it was a throwback to my past, but because I found a powder that's affordably luxurious and works well enough for me to justify switching to it.
