Too Harsh! Too Gritty!

I have been a Vitamin C user for will over 10 years, with many brands. This was the first (and last time) I have used this Vitamin C from The Ordinary. It literally burned the skin off my face! I am now peeling and needing to take a break from all of my skin care to recover my skin on my face. I was very put off by the grittyness off the product and the strong stinging effect, even though the description says to expect it. This is not for me. I do not recommend.
