Do not buy. Very disappointing product for price

I am very disappointed in this product. It does do an excellent job at drying my hair very quickly but it cannot create a style that lasts for even one day. The ID was incredibly disappointing and turns off in the middle of styling all the time, and the tutorials are terrible. You also should not have to hold down the button to connect to Bluetooth, and I'd argue there shouldn't even be Bluetooth in the first place. Overall, very disappointing product. It is a good dryer but absolutely not worth the price since it cannot create a style and it's difficult to use due to the ID. Your fingers will cramp using ID or you will struggle to turn on the cool shot while maintaining your position. Do not buy unless you want a glorified blow-dryer that can't style your hair.

Ignore the haters!

Uuuuuuum so ignore all the haters and save time reading too many reviews. The Airwrap is amazing and makes for a regular home blow out sooooo easy and fun. I’ve spent my whole life trying to be low-maintenance, but since moving to the Northern Rivers, air drying my thick Asian hair is no longer an option unless I constantly want damp hair. Since I’ve started using the Airwrap (which is so easy to use with the ID Bluetooth sync’d to the app) I actually look forward to doing my hair. Yes, there is a slight learning curve, but after a couple of goes, it’s actually just muscle memory. I’ve had mine for 3 weeks and I manage to blow out my long hair (and I have a lot of it) with the round brush in less than 20 minutes. It’s plenty powerful and personally the hottest setting is too hot for me, so I use the medium setting and the styling lasts for days. The key is to set with the cool shot, which I use using the app even with the round brush. Highly recommend the Chitosan pre-styling cream (I got a travel size as a GWP), which leaves the hair silky and shiny. I‘ve purchased and used a competitor’s styling tool (rhymes with park) and the experience is just not the same. The Airwrap is much quieter (and just as powerful), the attachments are better, and the app the makes all the difference. If you've been on the fence, don’t make the mistake I made to try and “save” money by buying a dupe. You won’t regret the Airwrap ID. I’m even getting a second one from the US when I travel overseas to visit family. Lol.
