Why so much fragrance in an eye cream?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This eye cream is undeniably beautiful and feels very luxurious. The packaging is stunning and has that classic Guerlain elegance, and the texture itself is rich and smooth going on. It definitely feels like a high-end product. That said, the fragrance is quite strong, which feels unnecessary for an eye cream—especially one used so close to such a sensitive area. While it smells nice, the scent alone makes me hesitant to use it regularly, as fragranced eye products can be irritating over time. Overall, it’s a lovely product aesthetically and texturally, but the heavy fragrance holds it back from being something I’d fully commit to or repurchase.

Very nice product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The consistency of this feels very nice under my eyes. It’s like a gel cream so it feels lightweight yet very hydrating. There is a scent, however, it is not overpowering at all. The area where my dark circles are which is where I apply it feels nice and has helped moisturize the area where my fine lines occur. I love that it comes with a tiny spatula so I can retrieve the product without having to use my fingers to get it so it helps keep it a little cleaner.
