Pretty colors, excellent packaging, meh quality

The packaging is phenomenal! It’s solid and high quality without being hard to open, and I appreciate the removable mirror, as well as the extra flip-top dust cover over the cream tint. The cream tint is highly pigmented on light skin, and a little goes a long way. It seems to last all day, at least somewhat. I usually am not a fan of lip creams because of the dryness, but this one looks great topped with a gloss. On the cheeks, it blends out alright but can be a little patchy and emphasizes any dryness or texture. Even if you think you don’t have any dry patches, trust me, this blush will find them. The matte and shimmer powders are very lightly pigmented and honestly not that great. The colors are pretty but lean very warm, more than expected. The shimmer is very subtle. The formula does nothing for me. I wound up layering a Colourpop powder blush on top of the cream to set it and blur it out, which camouflaged the blendability/ texture issues I mentioned before, and looks really pretty. I should have been able to use the powders in the compact for that, but they applied poorly and also clung to texture. I used the blush brush Sephora recommended for this product. I haven’t tried the powder blushes alone, so maybe they’re okay that way but IMO the colors and formula really don’t blend well with the cream product. I bought this on sale but I wouldn’t bother with it at full price because I own drugstore products that perform better, and I’d appreciate some cooler toned options.
