It’s perfect for thin pencils but not for my fat/thick ones, unfortunately it breaks them.

Don't do it.

It's a terrible sharpener unfortunately! The concept of it was great, but upon purchasing and using it on all pencil material types, the blade itself does not sharpen smoothly. Will be returning, it's that bad.
