Exceptional foundation no comparison

Very sad that Nars is discontinuing this product in place of the new Natural Matte Longwear Foundation. I have tried the new foundation and it does not compare in any shape or form! It is runny, less coverage, patchy, and has these bubbles in the foundation bottle ( I think because of the new ingredients). I also got very oily with the new foundation. Whereas this foundation, is medium to full coverage, never patchy or runny, no bubbles and you get more product. I always get compliments and it lasts for hours with no touch ups. I have no idea why Nars keep on discontinuing very good products in place of sub par products ( in my opinion). So I had to get backs up before it was too late.

Flawless foundation

I’ve been testing the NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation and it honestly gives that soft-focus, airbrushed look without feeling heavy. It’s a full coverage formula but still looks like skin, and it blurred my pores instantly. I wore this for around 8–10 hours and it stayed matte with minimal shine, even in my T-zone. It didn’t oxidise on me either, so the shade stayed true all day. The finish is velvety matte but not flat, and it feels comfortable on the skin. If you have oily or combination skin, this is especially good because it helps control oil while still keeping the skin balanced and hydrated. The only thing I’d say is prep is key on dry areas it can cling slightly, so I recommend a good moisturiser underneath. Overall: perfect if you want long-lasting, full coverage with a smooth matte finish that still looks natural.
