Delicious scents, weird aftertaste

These balms both smell absolutely divine. I also love the texture of them on the lips - soft, silky and not sticky. I love that the ginger one has a slight brown colour to it. But what I’m really disappointed about is that both balms seem to leave that kind of dry, almost artificial taste in the mouth that almost makes you want to cough. I remember it from the cheap lip balms of my youth. Shame because these are otherwise perfect.
