Despite being very runny and barely lathering at all, it actually works well on my coarse oily-roots hair. Despite this being marketed as 'designed for oily hair', I had zero expectations whilst applying it, due to its texture which is definitely the thinnest I've ever seen in a shampoo! Yet surprisingly it cleansed my hair and scalp really well, without drying them out. The shampoo is a bit on the expensive side, but the ingredients are great and it smells amazing: fruity with a slightly sour note, not overly sweet. I also find this has a slightly calming effect on my scalp - which can be prone to itchiness sometimes, due to being in a hard-water area. And less is more, the product is deceiving because of the lack of lather. The first time I used it I just kept adding more and more shampoo to the palm of my hand. I quickly learned that a quarter in size is more than enough shampoo for my (midway down back) hair. ~ My Top 5 Beauty must-have list ~ 1. Hair Loss Treatment: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Hair Oil 2. Shampoo: 'Sephora Collection' - Deep Cleaning Shampoo 3. Face Mask: ‘Peter Thomas Roth’ – Pumpkin Enzyme Mask 4. Pigmentation + Anti-Aging Serum: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Facial Treatment Serum 5. Face Scrub: ‘Sisley' - Botanical Gentle Buffing Cream

It’s okay
It didn’t help with oily scalp. I guess I have a very oily scalp..? it didn’t control nor balanced my oily hair. But it smells really good! I would recommend it only if you like the fruity smell for your shampoo.
