Need to use a great deal of product

Purchased on a whim. The sales woman put a HUGE amount on my lipstick, let it set for two minutes then wiped off. My lips were this amazing shape of a beautiful fuchsia color. Well….I can’t repeat the same color pay off no matter how hard I try or let it set. My daughter loves hers and I will just give her mine. Oh well….
