Plumps slightly while feeling cool & hydrating

This review is based on the mini version of this lip oil included in the Sephora Favorites It’s Giving Nude Lips Kit. TL;DR: Minty, cooling feel on lips; plumps ever so slightly without stinging and lightly hydrating. Applicator on both full and sample sizes could use some re-working; otherwise, a comfortable wear and pretty color. WHAT I LIKE: * Pretty color * Minty, cooling feel on lips - it doesn’t sting (may not be for everyone) * Applies easily (but see below) * Wears comfortably on lips * Makes lips look a smidge fuller, not a lot; zero tingling or stinging * Lightly hydrating AREA(S) FOR IMPROVEMENT: * The bristles on the applicator for the deluxe sample splays / separates at least once each time I’ve used the product. It hasn’t caused product to go outside the lines of my mouth but has come close a few times. * I have a full size in another shade with a cushion applicator, which makes me wonder how hygienic it is. FYI / OTHER THOUGHTS: * Reapplication needed about every 2 hours which is not uncommon for this type of product * Smells like cinnamon; it’s not overwhelming but it is noticeable & does linger. I personally like it but those sensitive to fragrance or to cinnamon scents may want to pass. * Has a light cooling feel that lasts a while, up to an half hour maybe * The shade Cinnamon is described as a warm rosy brown but applies more of a neutral-to-cool plum brown on my lips which are naturally more pigmented BUY, BUY, BUY 🛍️ or BYE-BYE 👋🏼?: * The glosses in this collection are lovely and there’s a variety of shades to choose from. The applicator is not ideal on this sample size or on the full size version but I can find workarounds for it so that’s not a dealbreaker for me. This cinnamon shade is a beautiful color year-round but will be especially lovely this fall. BUY 🛍️

Cool applicator

I really like the spongy applicator. It goes on smoothly. Nice colors too.
