Stings and not moisturizing for dry skin

I have dry skin and it is not sensitive, but this product somehow makes it feel drier and stings around my eyes, nose and mouth. I really don't think it's made for dry skin. It's just too weak to be effective. It's about as moisturizing as my rose water spray that I use after my makeup because setting sprays are too drying. However, it does smell nice and I think it will be a good moisturizer for folks with oily or normal skin.

This is a staple in my daily skincare routine. It makes a huge difference and hydrates and preps the skin for serum and moisturizer. Can’t live without it. Excellent for sensitive skin.
