Type 4a hair - Did not work for me

I have type 4a hair and my hair is not heat trained as I like to wear my natural texture. This product did not work for me. I tried it months ago, only using it on the front section of my hair as a test. Shortly after I finished the silk press process, my hair began to poof and frizz as is standard. Today, I decided to give it another go as it was what I had on hand. I did wash and blow dry my hair last night, so I will say that I technically did not follow the instructions to a T this time around. However, I saturated my hair to the point where it began reverting back to my curls (seems like that should be fine enough but perhaps not). Then I used my RevAir to dry it again and add tension. I followed up with Chi Silk Infusion to flat iron. Again, it began to poof and frizz within minutes as is standard. Hopefully, I'll find something that works for me as even professionally done silk presses have not lasted long on my hair. Will look into Living Proof or something else for next time.

Not for me, but try it for yourself

This product was a no for me. I saturated my sectioned hair and used tension when blow drying and was left with hair that felt greasy and heavy. When I straightened my hair there was a weird residue on my fa iron. When I went outside the next day the humidity caused my hair to frizz up so bad!!
