Love olaplex

Olaplex really helped save my hair after it started falling out. Tried many, many shampoos/conditioners from cheap to really expensive and found this to work best. Great price for the larger bottles as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this, but for type C / curly hair, it just didn’t hit the mark for me. While it sounds amazing—hydration, repair, split-end sealing, and heat protection—it felt like it was made more for fine, straight, or lightly wavy hair rather than thicker, curlier textures. Even though it claims to hydrate and repair from the inside out , the actual performance didn’t match what my curls need. What didn’t work for me: * It wasn’t moisturizing enough for my curls * My hair still felt dry after it absorbed * Didn’t give that soft, juicy curl definition—just kinda sat there * No real help with frizz or curl clumping * Felt like I needed to layer multiple other products anyway Honestly, it felt more like a light repair treatment than a true leave-in conditioner for textured hair. The reality (especially for type C hair): Curly hair usually needs heavier moisture + slip + definition, and this is more of a lightweight bond-repair formula. So if your hair is on the drier, thicker, or coarser side, it can feel underwhelming. Overall: ⭐ Rating: 2.5 / 5 (for curly hair specifically) It’s not a bad product—it just isn’t made with curlier, high-moisture hair types in mind. If your hair needs deep hydration and definition, this probably won’t be enough on its own.
