I wanted to love this but it made my skin oily

I’m a huge fan of Estée Lauder perfectly clean foam cleanser. however, I saw this one and I got triggered by the beautiful luxurious packaging and I got curious to try it. I’ve been using it every night for 2 weeks and it’s really great at removing make up and leaving your face very clean, but I noticed that my skin started to produce more oil which is strange as I have a normal skin type and my skin care and makeup routine hasn’t changed. this is a sign that this cleanser is too harsh and not suitable for my skin!
