A dream…

This is an actual body butter, not a heavier lotion marketed as a body butter. Application will take a bit more time as the product needs to be warmed in your hands for a smooth application. I’m so delighted with this! I come from a long line of “noses,” (professional perfumers), and the scent is incredible. I’m very fussy: I like gourmand fragrances, but nothing too sweet. Florals are very hit or miss for me (heavy florals smell acidic, cheap, and bitter on most body chemistry types). Sandalwood and woody notes are also a variable, where too much reads musky and becomes overpowering in most perfumes. The fragrance has an exceptional balance with each of the notes, and I immediately purchased the entire 59 collection. It is very rare I adore a fragrance so much that I bring home the complete lineup, and the last time I was this enamored with a fragrance was L’Occitane’s En Provence Vanille & Narcisse, since discontinued. The scent took me so by surprise in store, that I stopped to test each of the Sol de Janeiro fragrances, however they all paled in comparison to this, leaning far too sweet and youthful. 59 is truly cheirosa! Buy it. Layer it. Become irresistible.
