"Gentle and Effective for Sensitive Skin”
This serum is great if you have sensitive or easily irritated skin. It feels very gentle, lightweight, and soothing when applied. It helps calm redness and dryness, while giving the skin a nice boost of hydration. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t feel greasy, and works well under moisturizer.

Not worth the hype. Limited uses. Pills/balls up!!
Male-aged 28, combination to dry skin, olive/fair toned. I wasn’t sucked in by the hype, but I had been very curious about trying this serum, as I often will do my direct acids 2-3 times a week in the evenings and if I’ve had a few puffs of a joint after work (good for clouding my better judgement) I tend to get a bit carried away and decide “oh a third layer of direct acid would be totally fine!”. I like to think of this serum as my “fire extinguisher”. If I wake up and my skin is quite red, slightly irritated and warm etc this product works wonderfully on its own to calm the skin and seal in hydration. Its absolutely wonderful for calming skin down after a peel, that’s probably it’s best use, and the only time I’ll be using it from now on. Because my god it forms the most atrociously gross and annoying film. They don’t seem to advertise in the description of this product that it has film forming ingredients and it’s actually bothering me that I don’t seem to be seeing or hearing about this from anyone who is reviewing it, which just makes it even clearer to me that money talks and incentivised reviews are incredibly biased, if you dispense some on to your face or hand etc and let it sit there, it turns into a sort of putty. And even if I use a very light layer on my face it inevitably pills off! This is not at all a product I would use in my daily routine. The film forming feature is actually quite ingenious, if you’re using it as intended, to protect the skin underneath and help it to heal/repair itself. Like a bandage or a spray on wound dressing. It’s definitely not worth the hype, but as it’s fairly inexpensive it’s great to have it for those times where you need an emergency skin fix. Don’t wear this under makeup, don’t wear it to work unless you want people to think you’ve got some kind of horrible flaky skin condition because it will ball up or flake off all day. It absolutely loves to settle into eyebrow hair, lashes or just any hair in general. I had high hopes for this one. Now I just have mixed feelings. It’s not a “cure all” by any stretch of the imagination, nor is it a terrible product, it’s just way overhyped and they either need to tweak the formula a bit to reduce the film forming polymers/silicones/plant gums etc or just be more honest in describing how it works. But for when your skin is in dire need of protection, hydration and just a break, this definitely suits. I just really would rather have had a soothing and barrier support serum that I could use more than a few times a week….
