The shampoo has a yummy scent that makes me linger in the shower and put two lots of shampoo on my hair - I'm tempted to drink the stuff... I tried the shampoo on it's own at first, to see what results it produces by itself; whilst my hair was clean, less frizzy and shiny, it was also a bit rough to the touch. There are some really good points to this shampoo; not only does it give my hair a glossy finish, but it has helped my hair to stand up against almost daily washes and has appeared to have had some prolonging anti-frizz effects. However, being a shampoo formulated for intense hydration means that it doesn't have strong enough cleansing abilities for my preference; my hair is left very glossy after being washed and at first I mistook it for product build-up and grease. But after a month of use I've decided that despite the glossy appearance my hair is still clean for around two days after being washed. Whilst that's not bad it's not great, as with many more affordable shampoos my hair can go three days between washes.

Amazing (once you know how to use it!)

Ok so you bought this and you’re thinking hmm it doesn’t lather so I’ll use more until it lathers up, resulting in wasted product and dry hair. The shampoo doesn’t lather the first wash (you need to wash your hair twice but you should be doing that with any shampoo!). Use the recommended three pumps (separately, one pump at a time if you divide your hair in 3 sections). Then give it a good rub, then wash out. It does get clean! Then the second time, use three pumps again in the same way and you’ll get an amazing foamy lather. This really has been a game changer for my hair, which is straight/slight wave and tends to usually get greasy every few days. With this, I only need to wash my hair two or three times a week rather than every day. Combined with the conditioner, and sometimes the Ceramide mask, I don’t need any other products in my hair for it to always looks shiny and gorgeous. So stick at it and try using it the way I described, you will notice a difference.
