plummy undertone and not a smooth application

Pic of Ilia Taupe (top) next to Lawless Blondie (bottom). 2 stars for built in brush and for clean formula but this didn’t apply smoothly but instead waxy and pilled on application; also has a weird slight plum undertone which fades a bit of an unnatural purple hue
