Smelly and sat on top of skin like like a powder

I had been hearing wonderful things about this foundation, but it just didn’t live up to the positive reviews of me. It sat on top of my skin, very visible, like a powdery film. I have oily skin, and it was too dry looking for me. But the worst was the smell for me. It is a mix between perfume and paint, and as it sat on my face for a bit it started to turn sour smelling. I didn’t even put it on my whole face, just part of one side to test it, and it was still noticeable. The scent lasted the couple of hours I had it on.
