Long lasting powdery amber and vanilla

I received a sample of this with a recent order and I was disappointed that it only came half full. Having said that, I do like the fragrance; but fragrance is so individual that just because I like it doesn't mean that you will. It hits you with a burst of sweet pear but soon afterwards, that is gone and you are left with the amber and what I can describe as a "smoky" and powdery vanilla finish that lasts all day on your skin and clothing. If these are not the types of notes that appeal to you, this fragrance won't be for you. Very different than the original Jean Paul Gaultier pour femme fragrances of the 90s.
